From the period roughly 28 July to 8 August why cant I find any reward flights on Y to get back to Australia from Europe? (and not on J either)
I am using Velocity points, so thats either Singapore Airlines or Etihad, and I am checking both airlines seperately.
Plenty before and after, what gives? its not school hols or ramadan.
I will actually be coming from Dublin, plenty spots from DUB to AUH, and from SIN To BNE.
but its the leg from AUH to BNE with Etihad or SG London to SIN thats the blockout .
if going the other direction from Australia to EU, plenty during this time.
However I can find reward flights if I kangaroo hop all the way home with seperate booked flights, DUB-AUH-BKK-BNE all plenty reward J seats available, and take an overnight sleepover or two to break it up.
