Program to Date Miles:24,371 YTD Elite Qualifying Points:16,552 YTD Elite Qualifying Miles:12,518 YTD Elite Qualifying Segments:7 Miles Towards Elite Upgrades:5,001

Presumably, the Miles Towards Elite Upgrades balance above indicates accrual toward EXP?

The Miles towards elite upgrades indicates how many miles you have earned towards earning electronic upgrades for use on AA "domestic" services; you earn 4 Upgrades for every 10,000 earned base qualifying miles once you have elite status

The YTD EQP and EQM and Qualifying Segments are the counters that indicate your progress towards renewing Platinum next year (50,000 EQM or EQP or 60 sectors) or attaining EXP ( 100,000 EQM or EQP or 100 sectors )

You can transfer points to another account however it is not a free transaction but is cheaper than purchasing points outright

I don't suppose it's possible to credit points to AA but SCs to QF by any chance?

Also, if I was to fly on QF108 LAX-SYD, is it possible to (i) credit the FF points to AA and (ii) request a business class upgrade using QF points?

Correct , it is not possible

Asolutely. No problems doing that at all. Put the AA number in the booking and then phone and request an upgrade from your QF account

The only programs that I am aware of that allow such a double dip of mileage and status earning to different programs are

SQ PPS - earn PPS status while crediting miles to any partner FFP.
Hilton HHonors - earn HHonors points/stay/night credits and also airline miles for the same hotel stay.

Is this possible if you have booked via AA or other oneworld :?: and paid them?
Or is this only possible if a QF ticket but using a AA FF number?

Does not matter from whom you purchased the ticket. Just need to have the ticket issued before an upgrade can be waitlisted.
