Snow globes? TSA will likely just say 'no'

Well I sticking with every snow globe I've seen being drainable including some very expensive ones in Germany.

I can verify 100% that that is not always the case (as my friends was not drainable, and was thrown out by the TSA).

The glass ones are not usually drainable. The plastic oval shaped ones are, the actual 'glass globes' are not usually :)

FYI: Packing or Gaffa tape rolls banned too.
Cant work out if this is to help the suitcase wrapper concession.

As for D/Free booze, I transfer it into a drained PET bottle - water or a clean coke bottle will do. Never leaks.

Each transfer saves 1kg of glass bouncing around in the ohead lockers, plus fuzzy warm greeny feelings.

Dunno how much 1kg saves in Avgas from LAX to SYD.

i am pleased to report that little snowglobes bought in BAngkok airport at least get through Singapore screening!
