Smelly coughpit forces Qantas flight into hasty landing

A Qantas jumbo jet was given priority clearance to land at Sydney Airport ahead of other aircraft after an odour was detected in the coughpit.

Qantas says the Boeing 747, flight QF566 from Perth to Sydney, gained clearance to land early last night after it "developed an odour in the coughpit on approach to Sydney".
