My JQ domestic flights in NZ are taking 5-6 weeks to receive SC’s. My anniversary is 31st Aug and I have 3 JQ flights booked in Aug and this will allow me to attain gold for the first time. With the slow process we are all seeing, I’m guessing they will show up in Sept even though flights will be taken before anniversary - question is, will I attain gold with the delayed process?

Mine take weeks, if they appear at all. I now ensure I keep all Jetstar boarding passes as apparently there's no other way of proving you actually flew!

That should be ok. SCs usually post in the year they were earnt and that should push you over to Gold.

As mentioned I've got similar issue waiting JQ flight from 2 weeks ago to post to give me the 10 SCs I need to retain Platinum by 31 May.

Given you have four days to go, I'd agitate. I've been in a similar position. I went back and forward between Jetstar and Qantas, each passing the buck to the other. Ultimately though, it was sorted. Only took 40 minutes of my life and I was stuck somewhere waiting for someone anyway.

Do you remember which ended up sorting it?

Qantas refuse to budge on the "partner airlines can take up to 28 days" and "missing points claims have a mandatory 28 day waiting period" lines. I have HUACA four times.

Yes, Mrs AS JQ points and SC landed over 1 month after her anniversary but were credited to previous year and so she's PS for the first time.

Qantas sorted it in the end. I am WP, which might have helped. Basically, I went Jetstar, Qantas, Jetstar, Qantas, at which point I started to present my case in a slightly more firm manner. :)
Basically, they agreed the situation was ridiculous, threw in the towel and credited the SC's.

Had you already waited 28 days after flying, or lodged a missing points claim? Not doubting you - just curious as to whether I should keep persisting.

The 20 SC I'm waiting for will get me to WP, and I plan to request a J award straight away. I've explained this to each staff member at Qantas, who all acknowledge there is an issue with Jetstar SC delays and apologise for the frustration - but they all stay adamant there's nothing they can do. Two have said words to the effect of "the system won't allow us to manually credit SC until 28 days after logging the missing points claim".

35 days since missing points claim.

I was told that if Jetstar don't respond to the missing points claim in 28 days, Qantas accept the itinerary + boarding pass as proof of travel and will manually credit. Would recommend calling.

To be honest, I can't remember the time period but I'm fairly sure it would have been more than 28 days. Generally my life runs at least six weeks behind reality. :(

Just took me about 2 months (with a missing points claim filed and an email to frequent_flyer@) to get 10 SCs from a 3K SIN-KUL back in March. Sigh.

I called Customer Care 15 minutes ago and explained the situation regarding missing JQ flight on 13 May with Starter Plus and recently taking 28+ days to credit and he said we can't let that happen and took down the flight details and said to check again in 15 minutes.

Now notice the flight is included in my points activity and I have exactly 1200 SCs that will expire after tomorrow.

Good outcome. Finally! Probably shouldn't have been so hard though.

My last two flights 28 March, posted 8 May (42 days) & 11 April, posted 28 May (48 days).
Way too long, didn't make a points claim.

Have been using Jetstar CNS/BNE since Qantaslink took over the first CNS/BNE and last BNE/CNS flights this year.
The prices have gone through the roof with Qantas/Qantaslink, if I plan ahead can snag Jetstar with SC etc
for around $109 OW.

Off topic but QF currently has a sale fare of $109 (Economy) and $449 (Business) between BNE and CNS:
