On Friday I checked out of a 7 night stay at the Ibis Styles Canberra. Fast forward to today at 2 AM when I check in to my room at the Breakfree Christchurch. To my surprise I was still listed as a an Accor+Gold despite me now having stayed 65 nights after the last 7 night stay. Upon checking my Accor account just now I noticed that the stays haven't yet posted. Is this normal?

Also, I mentioned this to the receptionist who shrugged and said all they can provide now is Gold benefits (i.e. no free brekkie) until the nights tick over.

That's normal over the weekend. Ask them to credit your breakfast if you paid for any at check out. Should update by tomorrow in my experience.

I wasn't able to have breakfast this morning on account of me waking up late thanks to my QF into CHC arriving at 1:21AM. I'll give that a shot in future days though. Out of curiosity what breakfast am I entitled to as a Platinum at a break free? I suppose that's a question for reception!

They can take.up to a week to post. I'm not that surprised a checkout on Friday hasn't posted yet.

Update: Stay from Ibis Styles Canberra hasn't posted. In the meantime the Breakfree Christchurch I checked out from yesterday already posted giving me 4 nights which pushes me over the 60 night requirement to become Accor+Platinum.

I guess I'll have to follow up with Ibis Styles next week to get this sorted.

Update: checked my Accor account yesterday and the stay and Accor points appeared! So I’ll be finishing this year with 93 nights stayed (including 45 bonus nights as part of the Accor+ accelerator). Pity one cannot earn Diamond status with 100 nights:
