Heading off for my first ever overseas trip, despite being 35, to the USA on Saturday for work. I purchased a new suitcase today, having checked Virgins requirements of a maximum linear size of 158cm I was very pleased to find an Antler New Size Zero Large Expanding Rollercase, which I checked the tag on and added up to 157cm. Perfect.

So I get home and... that sudden sinking feeling... yup, it's 157cm excluding the wheels. With wheels its 167cm. Aside from feeling like a complete idiot, and with some concerns about the returns policy at the shop I purchased from, and the lack of time until I go, can I ask if anyone else has traveled with this particular bag or something similar and if so did it cause you any troubles?

I'd think that you will probably be fine as long as the bag isn't overweight. Hope you have a good trip.
