SkyWest and ExpressJet to fly as oneworld affiliates in USA
– US regionals SkyWest and
ExpressJet will fly as part of oneworld on routes they operate as American Eagle, the regional
affiliate of American Airlines. This takes the number of regional carriers
operating as affiliates of the oneworld alliance to more than 25. Both airlines will offer the full
range of oneworld
services and benefits on flights operated under the American Eagle. From 15
November, SkyWest will operate affiliated services from Los Angeles to 13
destinations initially, and ExpressJet from Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW) to about a
dozen destinations from 14 February 2013. Both airlines will operate Bombardier
CRJ200s on their routes.
