Hi everyone,

First time poster here, so be gentle!

I have around 23,000 Skywards points that are due to expire November 2009 as well as 17,000 Velocity points. My question is this - Is there any way to move my Skywards points to my Velocity account in order to book a non-flight award?

I am not in a position to fly anywhere any time soon (apart from a London trip in November on Malaysia) and would quite like to pool the points and get a gift card from Velocity.

Is this possible? If not, what the bloody hell can I use all these expiring Skywards points for?!!

Thanks,
Will

In the end of things I just donated the leftover useless points to the Emirates Kids Foundation thingy.

As generous as I am (!!) I am not sure I want to donate all my miles to a kids foundation...

Any other ideas?!

I think with EK you can also use your points for some sort of raffle??

There are 24 products in the "Emirates High Street" for sale between 20,000 and 23,000 points.

And a lot < 20,000 as well. Why not try bidding on a memorable Membership Rewards number (lol).
