Skywards Gold Shabby changes by Emirates

Emirates Senior Management see Skywards as a cost center, and have no idea of the concept of loyalty and how a true Airline FFP should work. The view from the top of EK is that the strength of the network along with a reasonable on-board product, negates the need for a real FFP.

I would not invest too much in Skywards, it is only going to continue to go down hill.

They also have the F lounge. It is the same size as the J lounge and is practically empty, even during peak hour. I spent 2 solid days there last week.

Got it in one. Spend a fair bit of time in both. F Lounge in morning and evening peaks is only ever as busy as the J Lounge is at 3 am...
