Skytrans to Operate Lord Howe Island Route from March 2026 - Take over from Qantaslink

They have 10 or so if needed, bigger or smaller
I think you'll find that although 100 can service the route, it has limiting factors around power / performance which will stifle the ability to service the route.

That being said - they have 2 x aircraft, that should be sufficient.

My comments were more about SmartLynx Australia actually still being around within the next 6 to 12 months.

Reward seats on flights have now appeared and are even discounted under the current promo. At this stage most dates in Jun/Jul/Aug have space but do note this is the low season as it’s colder with some hotels on the island shut over this period.
