Singapore Stopover Holiday - on award fight

Does anyone know if you can add a Singapore Stopover Holiday to an award booking?

I got that last month but when I went onto their web site I seem to remember it did not apply to redemption tickets.

The Conditions of Sale indicate

• Passengers travelling on KrisFlyer redemption bookings are eligible to buy the BSSH or SSH if all other criteria have been met. Passengers travelling on redemption bookings on other frequent flyer programmes are not eligible to buy the BSSH or SSH.

SQ probably don't subsidise these deals. The more they can funnel to local hotels the more clout they have.

Does anyone know how to add a SSH onto your award booking AFTER you have had your ticket issued ?

I went back into the membership area; looked in my bookings area, and down the bottom of the bookings screen, the only add-on option option is the shopping one.

I am not flying until October 2018.

Do i have to ring the SIA office back to make the SSH booking, or is there a way of doing teh booking online ?

There was no way to get this $1 deal online, but ringing the Service centre, it was all sorted and booked in 10 minutes.

Just know before hand which of the 5 hotels you would like to stay at to make the booking easier.

Have you stayed at either place, or do you have another favourite ?

i am looking at the basic package because i have done the full package before, and don't really have time to use the extras that it offers.

Sorry - no recommendations. We also only have < 24 hours, so it will be just one or two of the extras on the list.

Oh damn, I just prepaid our hotel for our stopover as I couldn't find any information about using this with redemption flights...next time! Good to know it works when you call them.

I didn't notice the promotion closed on the 28th and went any booked two MEL-SIN-LHR Y's on the 30th. I tried ringing SA but nope, too late. Only upside was total fare jumped $750 today, so partial recovery.
