At Berlin on Monday while checking in for our Berlin - Sin flight we were asked by QR for proof of onward flights from Singapore. I have only been asked for this once before - in Oslo flying QR again. Perth - Scoot and QF haven't bothered. Neither did EY out of Paris, CI out of Taipei or Vietnam Air out of Frankfurt.

More surprisingly we were not only asked if we have done our Singapore Arrival Card but had to show proof. Some other airlines have reminded us about it but none have ever previously wanted to see proof.

Not only did QR in CPH not ask about my Singapore arrival card, I forgot to do it! Realised when I was going down the escalators to the arrivals hall. Sheepishly joined the nongs who were doing it there and then.

The only time I've entered Singapore since the digital card system started, I had a print out with me and was asked by the airline at check in to see it, but they never even looked at it.

I had 1 completed and 1 would not work on my last visit, down the escalator at immigration and chuck a U ey to the left is a bunch of ipads and a "helper". She typed in the same info that I had been typing in to the phone for 2 days prior and it worked...
