Singapore - Best J lounge for OW?

Thanks Daver6. I'm yet to check out the FT thread, but seems there's mixed views on drink quality. Are spirits self serve, and are they good quality? That would be enough for me to take it over QF. Quiet and comfortable are winners for me.

To be honest, I had a really big night last night and the thought of alcohol is far from appealing :) Spirits are self serve and seemed like both a reasonable selection and decent quality. Certainly not your bottom shelf rubbish.

Not sure how quiet it would remain though once it fills up. Given the two lounges are within 30 metres of each other, easier enough to chop and change.

I suspect the main advantage of the BA lounge would be for WP (assuming they get access to the Concorde room?).

I've moved to the QF lounge. This is my first visit to it since its been re-done. The food options are good, but I don't like it. Its a bit too industrial for my liking. I think an airport lounge should go for the luxury look/feel. Not sure why, but the BA lounge just feels a little more private/refined. If I wasn't lazy, I'd get off my bum and go back there to just sit.

Thanks.

i doubt WP get Concorde room. Only BA F is the norm.

I share your view re QF's industrial feel. Everyone is different, but I prefer a bit of exclusivity. If I wanted a mess hall I'd just go to a fast food eatery in the terminal. (I exaggerate.). (A bit).
