Does anyone have any knowledge about the SIA 747 that was in Adelaide today? Was it a regular schedule flight?
I drove down Tapley's Hill Road this afternoon, just as it took off and it flew over the top of me. As I rounded the corner, the "plane spotter's car park" at the end of the runway was full to overflowing with every conceivable kind of camera, tripod and lens. This made me think that it was something special.
Any ideas?

Just a freighter flight AFAIK, SQ no longer have 747s operating on RPT flights to Australia, but you will see the odd one at ROK once in a while.

Nup - this wasn't a freighter, or if it was, all the freight on the sides had window seats :)
