I'm looking at a quick turnaround in Singapore, but noticing that some of the times are quite tight.....

Eg BNE-SIN then SIN back to Oz.

I assume one can remain airside IIRC, just wondering if anyone has experience on the turnaround?

How tight? Same flight back? Have done something similar, SIN is probably the easiest place to do it.

From a quick look it appears landing around 1900, departing around 2030.

If same aircraft - I'm not worried about delays, but if aircraft continues to LHR, then the turnaround might fail.

I guess I'm wondering which flights usually have the same aircraft doing the return??

That's enough time for connecting, even changing terminals in SIN - delays aside.

If you're thinking QF51/52 then it will be the same plane. I have done it with QF71/72 but 72 departs later to get back at a reasonable time.

QF 1/2, 5/6, 9/10 are the ones continuing to/from Europe. QF81/82 was the one that used to rotate to India from memory.

Wouldn't QF turn the 747 around from BNE?

Cool - thanks guys....

I'll see if I can make 51/52 work.....

As much as the 388 will be nice - I'd rather not miss my return flight :)

No, QF often send the inbound 52 aircraft to LAX or SYD, longest rotation has been three days with the last four flights all having different aircraft.

The OP was referring to ex-SIN, so unless it changes on to head to FRA I couldn't see where else it would go but back to BNE

Possibly, the new MEL service may mix it up a bit.

Sorry to be nosy but why is OP doing a turnaround in SIN? If it was a SC run, surely there will be cheaper options domestically...

Domestically it's hard to match the point haul for the price, which can then be used on Dom JASAs.

Run yes - but for fun - not for SC, already have plenty for requalification.
