Hi!
I'm looking for some wise advice. This has been a great forum for tips on earning points but now I'd like to spend them!
I'm wanting to use points to get from Singapore to Reykavic next year. From my calculations I should have enough points to go one way with QF points and 1 way with KF points but I'm having difficulty finding Reyjkavic in the award booking engines.
Is the best thing to call up the airlines to check availability with partner airlines?
Or will I have to use points to get to a european airport and book a separate ticket?

Thanks in advance!

Hi!
but I'm having difficulty finding Reyjkavic in the award booking engines.

I've been looking at Reykjavik too recently. Lots of availability via UA Mileage Plus, so I imagine there would also be via Krisflyer.

Perhaps it's because you aren't using the correct spelling or airport code (Keflavík International Airport (Icelandic: Keflavíkurflugvöllur) (IATA: KEF, ICAO: BIKF), also known as Reykjavík-Keflavík Airport, is the largest airport in Iceland and the country's main hub for international transportation.

For using Krisflyer miles, you need to call, as you can only book SQ flights online. As such, it only shows SQ destinations in their booking engine.

Have you tried the bigger airport of KEF? I think you might have more luck.

we used QFF points to fly London to KEF and then QFF points from KEF to Berlin (which was a phone booking as qantas doesn't show KEF as a departure point)
