Given that the earliest arrival into SIN each day from LHR will be BA11 at 1610 I suppose it makes scheduling sense if you are only considering long-haul transit passengers. For stopover customers not so nice 0 I'd rather get in PER at 1415 instead of 0445.
Though it will be less congested in PER on arrival. And it looks like both PER flights will then be doing a reasonably quick turn around in SIN.
Not sure where they could use the planes with the longer layover in PER however.
Perhaps QF could move the early departure PER-SIN an hour earlier so that passengers can get better onward connection in SIN :shock: with arriving in SIN at 1615 rather than 1715. Maybe the extra hour gate rental time in SIN would be too expensive
