SQ237 now only runs Thu-Sun (effective 4 May) & SQ238 Fri-Mon. We had a J UA award on SQ237 on 14/5 re-scheduled to SQ218 on the 15th. I tried for SQ228 on the 14th (can see Saver availability on KVS with an SQ search), but UA agent couldn't see it. Leaves us with a 17.5 hr layover in SIN, but at least we now get the A380 instead of the 773.

No, but 17 hours in the SKL isn't too bad.

17 hours in SKL is too much in my experience. I've done 6 hours 2030-0230, visited both the T2 & T3 lounges and as was so bored.

Yesterday I had 15 hours 06:30 - 2115. Easily enough time to SKL lounge for breakfast, catch a train to city, visited Little India, Clark, Orchard, China Town, Marina Bay plus meals in each area. Then back to SKL by about 2000 which gave me time for shower, dinner before boarding and I was asleep by 2130.

The times I've had even 8 hours overnight I skip the airport and get a wotif or priceline hotel in the city.

I'm sure others might have other ideas.

I would book a room as 17 hours in any lounge is too long for me.
