First time poster long time snoopier

I’m trying to book/inquire about a WASA (I think W is the PE award class) between SIN and FRA for the 15[SUP]th[/SUP] of July and 8[SUP]th[/SUP] of August this year, namely QF 5 and 6. I’m aware that there are currently classic PE seats available. However when I attempt to book an ASA the option of PE is not available, only Y, J and F. I rang QFF and the lady wasn’t sure why but did report the problem and requested assistance, after 30 minutes on hold she informed me that I had to go through a normal paid booking and chose the points and pay option. I mentioned this is a very poor value option and she agreed. I would suspect that with classic PE seats available I should be able to get a WASA for around the same price however I can’t check because the website and seems like even the call center is unable to inquiry about it. Can anyone give me some advice as how to proceed?

Thanks

You are able to book an ASA over the phone. If you can't do it online, there should be no booking fee. All you need to do is be very clear that you wish to book Z class (which is the PE award class not W), and then they can price it as if you were doing it online. Make sure you are very specific that you want an any seat award booked. I just had a look on E/F on those dates and there is "Z" x 1 on both services.

Good luck.

Apologies...I missed your actual issue with booking. I thought you couldn't see the seats...

To get PE to show up, click on "Multi City" on the ASA booking tool. You can then just put in the flights and select PE.

I just did this and found the Z class seats for 126,000 points plus $521 SGD return.

Thank you for your reply, I appreciate it. I just looked and found the same information. I wasn't aware you could do that through the multi-city option.
