Post-Simpler™ & Fairer™ I'm a bit confused about the status bonus.

  • Status bonus for WP is meant to be 100%.
  • The Tier Benefits page says ◊ The Status Bonus is applied to the actual Qantas Points earned when travelling in the Economy cabin. For travel in premium cabins, the Status Bonus is applied to the Flexible Economy earn rate
  • The new calculator says SEA-LAX earns 2200 points in flexible economy
  • Actual status bonus received for a business fare (travelling in the First cabin) on a QF codeshare = 1100 points

Has the Qantas English Dictionary redefined 100% to actually mean 50% ?

(Same applies to BNE-MEL actually, I just realised).

Oops, forget that - crisis averted. I just realised the calculator was already including the status bonus in the earn it was showing.

(just shows how simple it really is I guess!)

Crisis averted - that mean's that QFF web has got something right? If so, it's a red letter day (perhaps a big red Q?)
