Sim card in usa

I am overwhelmed with the amount of sim cards that are available in the US.. I am taking my phone which is unlocked and trying to decipher which is the best sim to use... Has anyone found one that is cheap and cheerful so to speak:confused:

I am currently in the US ... have found in the past that even with unlocked phone a local sim can have issues.... This time purchased a pre-paid TracFone mobile for $20 .... which was activated in store, I chose this over the virgin or t-mobile pre-paid for the better coverage throughout USA and Canada and also International calls at local call rates, so phoning home is easy and cheap. Also took advantage of the double minutes offer ... pay for 60 mins get 120. Better value than other options I have used in the past. I also believe Tracfone have an option for International Callers to phone your mobile via a local (to them) number saving them also. I also divert my OZ phone to a skype in number to collect voicemail over the internet ...works great.

Happy Journey
