I have had a look through the AFF data base, and other online sites, and cannot find the answer to my question but it may be my bad searching! Thanks for your help.

I need to confirm some dates in the USA in January or February 2020 and would prefer not to pay peak fares if possible. At this stage Qantas is only showing fares until 28 January and they still appear to be at the peak rate. I do not mind if I fly from Sydney or Melbourne into either LAX or DFW.

I would appreciate it if anyone could advise me what date the fares should drop to shoulder?

Many thanks

There’s a close correlation of peak fares with AU school holidays, and in particular there are hordes trying to get back in Australia in the last week of January.

Early feb you should see it fall off.
