Got the Shop Small email this year, looks to be just grants for small businesses with no personal incentive. Every $1 goes towards funding small business grants.

Every year it gets worse! Iirc, it used to be spend $20 or $30, get $10 back up to 3x!

So Shop Small has basically turned into Amex seeing how much of a tax deduction Amex users can push them to make as a grant to 'small businesses', who are already Amex customers?

Unfortunately, this is just the starting gun on what we will see with the ‘reforms’ that are coming. Sooner or later, we’ll see what they have in mind for MR points.
