Hi all, hoping for some recommendations on who can provide shipping to and from the USA.

I will need to attend a conference in the USA and take a heap of exhibition material with me. It's likely to exceed my baggage limit (size more than weight), so I'd rather just ship the whole lot and travel carry-on with my personal items only.

Has anyone done the above and had any positive experiences with a particular provider?

We have used Luggage Foreward a number of times to move skis between Australia and the USA and have been very impressed with them. They have always collected the bag at the time they said they would and deliver them before they are due.

I would not think that shipping exhibition material would be any different to our experience.

Thanks! I'll look into it, MY gear may end up being close to 40kgs, so it'll be a good comparator.

Hi SBF, it will depend on the size of your cargo. Smaller shipments with a total cubic weight less that 70kg will be best to send via a express courier company door to door

Over that size you will need the services of a freight forwarder.... I just happen to own and run one and have done exactly this for clients in the past. PM me if you need assistance

Cheers

Thanks @Pointcollector I'll do some research, have plenty of time up my sleeve for this.
