Does anyone know what the usual charge is for having a cot set up in your room in Sheraton properties? Got charged $60ish in the Crown in Melbourne a couple weeks ago and am about to go on a 10 night trip.

Will be dragging a travel one with me if the costs are anything similar...

anyone had experience with this?

note:Plat going to HKG, SIN and KL.

thanks!

It would vary by hotel, which specific hotels are you staying in?

Sheraton Singapore has just answered confirming completentary cot is available.
Now awaiting Sheraton Towers Hong Kong and Sheraton Imperial Kuala Lumpur.

IMHO as parent I prefer to use our own travel cot.

We got a cot in HKG and it was boardering on dangerous as it did not have big sides and also the timber and chew marks in it from other kids.

thanks for the info Simo.
In case anyone has the same query in the future, I have manage to get answers from all three properties and they do provide them free of charge, you request them and the request added to your reservation.

a decent 5 star place should provide this free, but alas in Australia hotels are grabbing for every cent. (look at wifi)

Not all of them. It's been a long time since we needed cots, but I did notice Hilton Surfers Paradise has them listed as complementary (can be ordered from the "Upon Arrival" tab in the reservation).

Sorry for being OT, but it sort of fits. I'm also not suggesting HSP is a "decent 5 star place" ;)

An update after the trip. Had no issues with the cots provided during our stays. It was the same model in all 3 hotels. Metal framed, clean and with clean sheets/matress. Only tip is to take a cover, or baby sleeping bag as they are not provided.

Thanks for your input on my query guys!
