Anyone noticed the four sheep photos on the wall as you enter the BA F lounge in terminal 3 at LHR.

Note sure where they were taken but it looks like maybe Avebury. (One of my favourite sites in UK. Nice Red Lion pub for winter lunches and mulled wine.)

Fabulous set of photos.

Not Shaun the Sheep then? (Sorry I have a 4 year old, my plasma seems to be stuck on ABC for kids!)

My 5yo has graduated from Shawn The Sheep to Big Time Rush and iCarly. And she says she's too old for The Wiggles

I think the Wiggles have gotten too old for the Wiggles ;)

hehe, very true, what with pacemakers and what not.

But, it 2013 now, so it'll be a whole new line up (except for one). Those 4 year olds will never notice.

I suppose one should have guessed that discussions on aesthetics would get dumbed down quickly...

You were talking about sheep photos - not something that springs to mind when it comes to aesthetics. Personally I prefer the simplicity of teh QF and CX F lounges - I haven't noticed much art there and the lines in the lounges are clean and bright. I find the "art" in the BA lounges to be forced and frankly the horse lamps ridiculous.

This from an airline who also has a horse with a lamp shade on its head in the Galleries F Lounge, T5.

Rrrrright... Yep, that's a horse all right.

I wonder if they let the kids ride on it. :)

Yes I totally agree, the Red Lion is a wonderful haunt on an autumn or winter’s day.

Just across the road from the Lion is a great little antique bric-a-bac shop with reasonably priced goods.

Such things as a genuine 15 century ring for around 20 quid.

For those that agreed that Stonehenge under “Places to avoid, places to see” was one to avoid then maybe you might like to travel a further 30km through Salisbury Plain to the henge at Avebury.

Even if this under-whelms you too your effort will be rewarded at the Red Lion.
