Shaving in the lounge! Aren't there bathrooms for that?

Electric would have been worse, as the vibrations would fling his hair all over the place, but a wet razor (and bowl) would keep everything together.

While I have had a hair cut on a train I did decline a shave. Several ex-Pullman passenger cars still have barber shops in the US.
