The email was sent out on 19 oct. Yours must have got lost in the emails. Are you linked with kris flyer to get the silver status? I'd ring the Shangri-La golden circle line and see what happened. I didn't have any activity with shangri la due to Covid lockdown over the last three years.

I also haven't received the email. Will have to contact them and see what the story is.
The only email I have received was one apologising for my details being part of a data breach of Shangri La Hong Kong. The stay was back in 2018. I really questions how long individual hotels need to retain your data for! Anyway, it would be nice if they just extended status as an apology for this.
 
Went and had a coffee and cake at KL Shangri-La.

Showed my digital golden circle card. They plug it into their till and your details come up. Then the number appears on the reciept they give you. I noticed the purchase was appearing on my golden circle account. So should qualify now. Hopefully.
I wonder buying Shangri-la gift card for Malaysia would qualify for the extension.

Maybe that's because you stayed for the stay in late Sept 2022.
Their systems seem to be on a par with Accor... perhaps not quite so bad...

Thats good, as I was looking to stay at Shangri La in Sri Lanka in mid 2023.

Did anyone who bought coffee here at a Shangri-La end up getting a confirmation email as to whether your Jade status has been successfully renewed for another year?

Same here. I am in Germany. No chance having a coffee or drink.

shangrila has an online store/boutique for local deliveries
mentioned in the T&C from memory.

Yes. Unfortunetely, following the T&C for retaining the status orders must be picked up or delivered successfully.
 
I'm heading to sydney shangrila tomorrow to buy a drink myself.
Happy to help out if they let me use multiple member accounts
 
Good thing that Circular Quay is a short stroll from my office, will be in Shangri-La Sydney tomorrow to do a lunch run there. Hopefully it works...

Looks like my Jade membership is until the end of 2023 though, which is why I might not have got the email.

I checked my shangri la account. It's still showing Jade status only till Dec 2022.
I'll check again in January 2023.

I had dinner at Altitude- Shangri-La Sydney about 2 weeks ago and whilst the points have posted, my account still says Jade status is only until December 2022.
