Seventy Celebrations, Staycations and Surprises

Back to Party Aunty's for more chatter, cake, coffee and drinks and then the other surprise!

Unknown to me, Mr Flyfrequently had put together a PowerPoint presentation (with appropriate music synced to specific photos) something we started in Covid for all milestone birthdays for the family.

When asked what I wanted for my birthday, my only request was to share it with family and friends dear to me.
AND a song AND a sideshow for me.

I really was only joking - I had no idea!

Have to say that his selection was spot on, and in chronological order with lovely memories of those who are no longer with us, Mum, Dad, Nanny, MIL & FIL and my two besties

The slide which elicited the most hilarity was action photos taken at the Flyfrequently offspring combined/belated 40th birthday party in a Bali karaoke room - where we all subsequently got Covid (thereafter referred to as Covid-oake

The evening wound down with the South Australians heading to Tulla to catch the last flight of the day.
With gkids having school the next morning and all Queenslanders due to fly out early, it was time to head home.

No speeches but lots of hugs and good humoured ribbing.....

With another lunch with very dear workmates spanning 30+ years later last week - we call this one our "5 minutes for ailments " lunch, it was a wrap for my "70" celebrations.

I may have neglected a comma in "Seventy, Celebrations.... or did I?

Guess if you add up 1 song, 1 slideshow, 2 staycations, 5 schoolmates, 16 local community mates, 25 lunch guests, 17 days coming up in Vietnam, Party Aunty's dog Maxx and her 2 cats = 70!

She did have the last word in the family chat
