Hi Everyone,

Just wanted to let everyone know about the great service i received today on a flight from sydney to alice springs.

Normally my weekly trips take me between bris, syd & mel. But today im in lovely alice springs. Now on a normal QF flight between bris, syd & mel (well my expirence anyway) every one in economy get's treated the same, little service if any at all. But today was a total back flip. I was sitting in 4A with business farly quiet. And as soon as we got in the air, the CSM came and introduced herself to 4C and myself because we were both platinum FF. Now normally if this happen's i get very little in return, but today she asked in i would like a newspaper which was nice, but had read all in QP before the flight. AFter that i thought to myself that will be all i will se of her for the rest of the 3 hour flight, then suddenly as we were served some food she was back to ask if there was anything else she could get us maybe a drink from up the front, i requested a bourbon and coke and 4c requested a nice coffee. WHich was very much appreciated, then about 20 mins later she was back to give us both refill's and a nice little chat.

Well this went on nearly the whole flight. This was a great change from the normal sour looking people that sometimes assist you mid flight.

Glad to hear you had a really good experience. Occassionally a FA or CSM will go out of their way to provide quality service.

Was this a Qantaslink flight? Most times I have been on a Qantaslink flight, or even Jetconnect, the service has been very good.
