Been looking up fares etc but thought the experts here might help rethink the problem. Two adults, 1 child (6) to fly to Europe, need to reach LEMNOS (GREECE) and PARIS (FRANCE) - with some travel to Belgium (train)
It's a research trip (Australian nurses in WW1) so specific about places to go ... but dates can be moved somewhat
LEAVE SYDNEY (AU) - 26 August 2011
RETURN SYDNEY (AU) - 8 October 2011
We've been scoping out tickets/timetables to do a marathon stint SYDNEY-ATHENS-LEMNOS first up (some connections could be tight), then LEMNOS-ATHENS, ATHENS-PARIS, PARIS-SYDNEY ...
Instead of PARIS could do BRUSSELS or SCHIPOL, train is fast and easy
Any suggestions? A straight return to Europe, plus a cheap fare into Athens? Or are there other ways to do it?
