As a platinum QFF, I am allowed 64kgs of baggage allowance, which I never use. Does anyone have any (legal) suggestions on how I can sell this baggage allowance? To an international cargo company perhaps? I have heard of this being organised in the USA, but am unsure how to do it in Australia.

Is it really worth taking the liability for what may be in the unknown bags?

You would have to make sure you saw what was being packed, and that it complied with customs on the country you're entering. For instance, dollar value of goods and if you're bringing in stuff to sell ;)

In a word - no. But of course you carry third party luggage if you are ok with the risk and consequences.
