Struggling to use your Frequent Flyer Points?

Frequent Flyer Concierge takes the hard work out of finding award availability and redeeming your frequent flyer or credit card points for flights.

Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, the Frequent Flyer Concierge team at Frequent Flyer Concierge will help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

I have changed the MEL-SYD flights to QF402.

The agent making the ticket change also indicted if we produced both tickets, MEL-SYD & the SYD-LAX-YVR ticket, check in staff in MEL "should" check luggage all the way thru to LAX. That gives me confidence to push back if the check in staff say they can't.

Appreciated the knowledge here.

Make doubly sure you have got a new printable etix with a PNR and bar code on the etix or A4 piece of paper, and check MMB in QFF.
There is a website called Check my trip too.
If MEL int connections desk will scan your passport and issue BP, don't loose it.
On way out of Au, you then go straight from QF bus drop off at SYD T1 up escalators to outgoing immi and int screening.
I can't say what the incoming US immi procedures re esta are tho.
If MEL for any reason say no, then you have to go to int check in at SYD.
Try to do OLCI 24 hrs before trip, then present passport at MEL T1 int connections.
Best of luck, I travel a lot to NZ, heh, maybe too much!
