Seeking Advice - Car Rental (Frankfurt)

Hi everyone,

Myself and partner are off to Europe in May and need some rental car advice.

We are staying at Intercontinental in Frankfurt then plan to drive down the "romantic Road" (Sun-Wed) ending up in Munich.

We are looking for best options for pick-up/delivery in central Frankfurt to smooth the process - any suggestions??

The Interconti is only a short walking distance from Frankfurt's central station ("Hauptbahnhof") where all 4 major car rental operators are present (Hertz, Avis, Sixt and Europcar). So in terms of convenience this would be the best option. But be aware that you will be charged a location premium, so if you are price-sensitive you might look for other options around the city.

We used www.driveaway.com.au.got a Mercedes 200C station wagon as our intermediate vehicle from Europecar.It was from the central station.It performed nicely down the romantic road.

About half way through i finally worked out how to get my pics to stick so the pics have disappeared from the first half.germany begins at post 35.
