Having to fly home economy midway thru my Tokyo assignment on a conjugal visit. Here is what the TA says are the aircraft for each sector:

QF22 NRT-SYD 330-200
QF 419 SYD-MEL 737-400

QF448 MEL-SYD 767-300
QF21 SYD-NRT 747-400

I am not seeing ANY of these aircraft as QF metal on Seatguru. What am I missing? And does anyone have ideas about the "best" seats especially on QF 22 and QF 21?

Thanks

Seems SeatGuru may not have updated the 744 maps for 3-class J/W/Y services to/from Japan. Qantas website has the correct maps (but gives no real indication on pitch).

In general, the more forward in Y the better (barring exit rows, which cost a premium), if only that the forward seats move you further away from more of the unwashed :p, is closer to get off the aircraft and has a better chance of being at the higher end of the pitch variation. For the 332, the bulkheads are solid and short-spaced and you may want to avoid them especially if you are tall.

P.S. Don't get the "feeling stupid" part?
