I will be flying with Thai from BKK to BNE - it's a codeshare operated by Thai but ticketed as Turkish Airlines. I cannot find a way to do seat selection via either the Turkish Airlines or Thai Airways websites. Does anyone have experience of how to do this? In fact I can't even access seat selection for the preceding Turkish Airlines flight via the Turkish Airlines website. Surely the winner of Europe's Airline of the Year must have a basic feature such as seat selection?

Did you try ringing up TK for seats, am sure I read somewhere you could do this (though reputedly you do have to wait a bit).

TK phone line opens 24 hr. has to wait sometimes and ladies at the other end do not always speak perfect English.

No online seat selection on the TK website. You can only view your booking. The only way is to ring them but bear in mind that seats can't be selected earlier than 90 days before the flight
