On Monday 22 February 2022, EK415 (mid evening 2145 hours SYD - DXB) looks to have 338 economy class seats taken of 427, so 79.15 per cent of seats have someone.
EK409, the 2230 MEL - DXB appears to have only 166 in whY, so seat occupancy is a much lower 38.84pc.
That's good from SYD, until one considers that as with some other airlines that used to operate multiple international flights each day to and from Oz (including individual airports), EK has reduced frequencies. While IIRC the A380 returns to BNE in March, at present no Australian port has more than one EK flight a day, while BNE is only 6x/wk and PER 3x/wk.
February is not peak time northbound, but this is the sole flight from SYD today, so in pre-COVID times one would expect it to have been busier.
