Aggh! It's people like you who ruin it for the rest of us!

This is a bit of a pet peeve of mine ever since I witnessed the havoc created by not sitting in your allocated seat.. The session was quite full and everyone seemed to be either trying to sit in their allocated seat or just randomly seating (*ahem* BAM1748!). Just before the movie started a group of 4 walked in and attempted to sit in their allocated seats. But there were other people seated in them. So, they booted them out pointing at the ticket. The people who were booted proceeded to boot the people in their seats out.. and so on. The ripple effect!

I've sat in some really weak-backed seats that bounce around... and when you have someone annoyingly moving in the seat, moving the whole row, it's much worse than someone reclining.

I have not been to a cinema in a while but when I do go I would prefer to be away from people. The quieter the better....

I generally look for the letters "DVD SCR" and that ensures I have a good seat,

You should really be looking for the following phrases:

x264 1080P YIFFY

Much better than your DVD SCR

Exactly what I was getting at, and it always seems to happen just as the movie is starting.

I normally hit Gold Class, due to same issues as simongr.

Occasionally I see one during the day midweek. I was with a friend one time and there were about 6 others in the entire theatre. So we just sat wherever. Then someone comes in late and we were sitting in their seats. And they wanted us to move. I felt like saying "there's two hundred empty seats, just pick one FFS". Some people can just be so cough.

If we can't get the movie in Gold Class though. I normally pick seats off to the side about halfway up. To get away from other talking, munching, seat kicking undesirables.
