Scoot TR fixed award chart now live

SQ miles are now redeemable on TR for the first time at a fixed price.

I guess this makes it the cheapest VA flight redemption as with the 1.55 transfer rate it means 2325 VA points will get you SIN-KUL (+ taxes).

Note that TR awards are the same as Basic fares, i.e. absolutely no mod cons at all.

For SIN/KUL, the 1.5k KF miles would replace as little as SGD 10 of regular cash fare on some days; when the fares are higher, I wonder how many redemptions (let alone Saver) would be left. Still, better than 8.5k on SQ unless you value lounge (if you have status) and baggage.

Scoot offers the only direct SIN-LOP flight, which is stellar value at 4.5/K (revenue tickets can be very expensive), so that's a nice new option.
