AFF Scheduled Outage - 8 May and 22 May

I have been informed by our Data Centre that there will be 2 Outages in the coming weeks.

Outage 1:


Start Time: 8th May 2012 - 1:00am


Finish Time: 8th May 2012 - 4:00am


Work being carried out: During the above window customers will lose connectivity for the entire outage window whilst we replace all cabling within the Data Centre to new cabling, this includes replacing all copper uplinks to fibre and increasing the capacity between co-location suites.


Outage 2:


Start Time: 22nd May 2012 - 00:01


End Time: 22nd May 2012 – 04:00


Work being carried out: During the second outage we will be replacing all edge switching to Gigabit Ethernet. All customers will lose access to their servers during this time.

The Outages are in a relatively quiet time, but I realise that it will impact on some of our members. I do apologise for any inconvenience.
