Instead of creating a new thread I will just tack on my question: I booked and flew Qantas on 2nd Apr from Perth to Sydney. I got my normal 20 status credits and few days later I got another 20 SC (DSC promotion). I am also Point Club member, should I also get 15 SC for this ? If yes, how long should it take to show up (probably not as long as waiting on the phone with Qantas).

No additional SC. Points club give you extra SC only on classic flight rewards (Without points club, you get 0 SC on classic flight rewards)

I don't believe so. As I understand it, Points Club membership only gives QF points for reward bookings, not paid bookings.

Got a related question - if you're a member of points club and you get a points upgrade on a paid flight, do you get the points club reward SC? For example, paid MEL-SYD in Y gets 10 SC, say you get an upgrade to J, do you get 18 SC, which would have been the SC received if you had got the same J seat via award? And what about an upgrade from an award Y to J? That costs more points than an award J but thinking Q would only give 7 SC... In theory Q should be adhering to the table, as in domestic booking class X gets 7, 11 or 15 SC and booking class U gets 18, 28 or 38 SC, regardless of how you got that booking?

Thanks for the feedback, that's really disappointing but good to know. If one is chasing SC via PC then one needs to aim for the business award from the get go!
