Hi all,

I am new to the Krisflyer Program in terms of actually using it, thgough have flown SQ on paid flights a couple of times.

What I am seeking is a list, or table, of routes that Saver Awards are available on.

I have read through a number of posts and tried searching and so if this exists could someone please point me towards it either on this Forum , or elsewhere.

I have tried making a number of dummy bookings and due to Saver Awards not being on all aircraft types, Saver Awards would appear to not be available on all routes. So rather than having to do this one at a time I am wondering if there is a Saver Route list/table....or if not directly by Award, if it can be taken from an Aircraft Type Route list/table.

At this stage I do not have particular destinations in mind as I am looking at what is possible for various recreational (holiday) trips. I would however like a MEL to Europe return trip, but am open to various locations and so thus am interested in what is possible..

I live in Melbourne, Australia and would prefer Business Savers, but would also consider Savers in Economy.

If many routes are in practice not available them my current thoughts to move Amex MR points to KF may not be as attractive as it first appeared from reading the Awards Table.

Thank you.

PS I have posted a similar query on SQ Talk and if I geta good answer there I will re-post it here too.

I believe there are no special restrictions on economy saver awards, other than normal availability issues ( generally not a problem).

Business savers are not available when serviced by newer aircrafts. So, for european destinations, currently possible for AMS, CPH, LHR (1/3), FRA (1/2), FCO, MAN.

Saver awards are generally not found on premium cabins of 777-300ER and A380 aircraft, though the odd business saver has appeared every now and again. A380 Suites are not available for redemptions period.

So to determine whether a saver award exists, simply look at the aircraft type.

The NH availability tool (it's free to sign up for NH FFP) provides a reasonably good guide as *A awards book into the same bucket as KF saver awards, though KF members do sometimes enjoy slightly better availability than what's sold on Starnet.

As mentioned, you can't redeem (in business/first) on 777-300ER and A380. See this thread on flyertalk to see which routes these fly on.

Essentially, you can't get the new business seats on a Saver Award or by using any other *A miles.

The SQ FAQ on flyertalk should answer most of your questions.
