Hi there,

I currently have several award flights booked with Qantas for OS later in the year and I have recently been given Oneworld Sapphire Status. I am only a Qantas Bronze Member and these flights were booked prior to my Sapphire status but I was wondering if I would now have more options in terms of seat allocation? We are stuck in Y class for our trip SYD to NYC so seat position is very important.

Thanks,

katec, wonder if you have logged into your QFF prfile and tried to change your bookings: One World Sapphire means you have jumped a tier and are now Qantas Gold: so yes, you should indeed be able to pick better seats - so, have you looked?

My profile doesn't show this change in status -do I need to ring Qantas to have this updated?

I have a Gold Marco Polo Club Membership which gives me sapphire status.
