My Mum received that email too. I need to hurry up and choose between ivory and red.

If a choice, between red & ivory... I'd suggest the red, as the ivory marks so easily.
Though the ivory looks nice & a distinct point of difference in the homogenised luggage world.

I've grown resigned to the fact that luggage will mark and it's there to project the contents. I have a couple of sets of Guess brand luggage which were beautiful when I bought them but are rather well worn after quite a few adventures.

I was thinking the ivory might be more age approriate for a 30-something.

I'm a bit of a luggage & shoe fashionista, unusual for a guy, though I try to maintain some sort of classical styling, & have an assortment of coloured luggage in varying sizes, some well travelled some not.
My most used & well worn piece is my alloy 1950s' styled Rimowa. It is a very sturdy & practical apparatus.
It have stickers all over & some ribbon so it's easily identifiable at the carousel.
