Saw a new safety video on QF flight this morning. Seems to be a very similar script/wording, with a reduced number of staff presenting (seem mostly on-board staff) all wearing the new uniform. Nothing fancy, corny or shocking about it - a fairly straight forward affair.

(I'm pretty sure 'Safety in Style' was the title of the video... just about to board return flight for the day, so I'll check it again).

makes sense to make a new vid with cabin crew in the new uniform..the uniform is a point of reference (just take a moment to think about the many many many non english understanding flyers on any given flight)...the uniform is what pax will be looking for 'in the event'..

This debuted with the new uniforms last week. Pretty bland as far as safety videos go, but nothing terrible. They've done a few shockers in the past, so probably wanted to stay safe this time.

The new TV ad on the other hand is puzzling.

I flew 2 sectors on Sunday, both of which were in row 4 and must admit I didn't watch the new safety video as these B738 aircrafts had no PTVs. I didn't want to strain my neck looking up at the monitor. I'll be sure to pay attention and keep myself amused when I next fly on Christmas Day on a B717 and a B734, both in J... "Merry Christmas Captain!"
