Last day in Zurich, decided to go on all day bus / train trip to Jungfrau. Best decision of the trip.

You will never forget this trip up to the amazing world of Jungfraujoch – Top of Europe – UNESCO-named World Heritage Park of the Swiss Alps. A guided scenic coach tour first takes you through enchanting landscapes to the magnificent mountain world of the Bernese Oberland. After a short interlude in Interlaken you reach Lauterbrunnen where the trip onwards and upwards continues in the modern cogwheel railway through idyllic scenery to Kleine Scheidegg, located immediately at the foot of the imposing Eiger North Face. You continue ever upwards by train past the Eiger North Face station where the husky dogs are bred, all the way through the mountain to the highest railway station in Europe – Jungfraujoch at 11 333 ft /3454 m. Thanks to Bindibuys amazing photos and TR, we planned Jungfraujoch into our Europe trip enroute to Gallipoli. Today we ventured up the mountain to similar temperatures to Bindibuys. We have a view of the mountain from our Hotel in Interlaken.
