Rydges cancellation

Minor vent - just went to cancel reservation at Rydges Sydney airport.

1. Click on 'cancel reservation' on the reservation e-mail.
2. Sends you to a page where you have to enter confirmation number, hotel name and surname.
3. Then sends you an e-mail with a link to cancel.
4. Hit cancel in the e-mail
5. Then opens another page asking for reason of cancellation, and 'cancel' button again.

6. Only then, you have cancelled your reservation.

I mean, really?

I just had to do a similar cancellation at Rydges - searched high and low in the email to find the link to cancel - teeny weeny letters down the very bottom. Annoying in the extreme. Logged into the Priority rewards page and couldn't even see a list of bookings.
