I've been spending hours trying to select flights with highest Status Points for lowest $'s to keep Platinum status need 320pts!
Jetstar SYD - DPS Business + Max bundle for 120 Status Credits each way seems to be best so far $1554.

Please let me know of other options that won't break the bank.

When do you need the points by ie when is your anniversary date?

If SYD/DPS/SYD gets you 240SC you'll still need another 80. You could book a QF codeshare flight (EK metal) AKL/SYD in J for 80SC or F for 120SC so if you have you have some QF points available approx 18,000 would get you SYD/AKL as a positioning flight. Booking on the QF NZ site is a little bit cheaper vs paying for a SYD/AKL then using points to fly back plus no AUD30.00 cc fee on NZ site.

Many thanks Oz,
Your suggestion has changed my plans. Looks like I'll be doing 2 trips to Auckland - at the moment same cost as DPS and much quicker trips in daylight hours.
Cheers

If it's a status run anyway, consider splurging on F in at least one direction - very enjoyable way to spend a few hours :)

Thanks opusman and Oz,
Has worked out very well - Booked F both ways and used Points for partner in J. This way we both get a turn in F :)

Cheers
