Royal Air Maroc has launched a new status match offer for current frequent flyers who have existing status with various Star Alliance, SkyTeam and non-aligned airlines.

Qantas and Virgin Australia status don’t qualify, but Royal Air Maroc will match status with airlines including United, Turkish, Aegean, Etihad, Emirates, Oman Air and possibly even ITA Airways.

Royal Air Maroc has been a oneworld airline since April 2020 so status with that airline could be useful on Qantas.

Looks like there was a pre-determined quota of applications that would be accepted, which has already been filled for the Gold match. Silver is still available, but hardly worth it when you have to pay an application fee for the status match.
